Job Summary:
Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials. Responsible for raw material and finished goods handling, loading & unloading trucks, & distribution of material to warehouse or production lines by performing the following duties personally.
  • Must be forklift certified or had previous forklift experience.
  • Must be able to ensure total accuracy for all loading of all outbound goods
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to read a ruler for measure counting of stock.
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Must have previous work experience that demonstrates the ability to organize, communicate and multi task.
  • Must be able to maintain a very level of housekeeping to include all aspects of the 6S program related to the dock area.
  • Previous UPS & FedEx experience is a strong plus
Additional Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Can effectively communicate with all KDM customers and employees
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Have the full use of both hands; full range of motion of both arms
  • Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch
  • Be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work repetitive motion
  • Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures
  • Ability to learn new concepts
  • Flexible schedule to work overtime as needed
